Perge
Perge is a directional geometric parquet pattern in 600 × 92 × 15 mm elements, offered in brushed natural oak, smooth walnut and metallic oak treatments.
Perge pattern details
Perge is available in 4 colour variants. Pattern development, wood selection, precision cutting and surface finishing are carried out in our Istanbul workshop.
Available panel dimensions: 92 × 600 × 15 mm
A directional parquet geometry with an offset rhythm
Perge uses elongated 600 × 92 mm elements to create an angled, directional floor. Its repeat has the visual momentum associated with herringbone, but the offset relationship between the pieces gives the pattern its own identity. It should therefore be assessed from the actual layout rather than treated as a generic herringbone product. Each element has a total thickness of 15 mm.
Among the ten Akarsu patterns, Perge is the closest to a linear laying language. The long format leads the eye along the principal axis, while the angled joints break a simple plank sequence into a more articulated field. This makes orientation especially important: turning the pattern can change whether a room appears longer, wider or more strongly centred.
Natural oak, walnut and metallic readings
Brushed Natural Oak provides the lightest and most tactile reading, with grain direction reinforcing the movement of each element. Smooth Walnut creates a warmer, more continuous field and softens the joint rhythm. Metallic Oak increases tonal contrast and gives the angled structure a stronger architectural presence. The catalogue contains two Natural Oak variants, so the legacy reference and images should be checked when specifying the intended version.
Finish selection should be made together with the direction of the layout. A pronounced surface can amplify movement across a long circulation route, while a quieter walnut treatment can keep the geometry present without letting it dominate adjoining materials.
What to define before requesting a Perge quotation
Share a dimensioned plan and mark the preferred laying direction, starting axis, thresholds and perimeter conditions. Include the selected variant or catalogue reference to distinguish visually similar treatments. Project-specific dimensions, pattern requirements and wood combinations can then be evaluated as part of the production and quotation scope.
