A small-scale botanical repeat for a detailed parquet field

İznik translates a small leaf form into a closely repeated marquetry parquet pattern. At 303 × 193 mm, its panel is more compact than the large botanical compositions in the collection. That scale gives the floor a denser visual rhythm: individual leaves remain visible nearby, while from farther away they combine into a textured field. The total panel thickness is 15 mm.

This distinction matters for searches such as leaf pattern parquet or floral wood flooring. İznik does not rely on a printed motif, and it is not a conventional plank arranged into a generic laying pattern. Precisely cut wood elements create the botanical geometry within each panel; the panel repeat then carries that geometry across the planned floor area.

Comparing walnut, cream, natural and metallic treatments

Smooth Walnut gives İznik a deep, even base and keeps the fine leaf repeat controlled. Cream Oak lightens the composition and reduces the contrast between adjoining elements. Brushed Natural Oak introduces tactile grain and a more relaxed tonal variation. Metallic Oak produces the strongest graphic reading, emphasising the repeated outline as light moves across the surface.

The appropriate treatment depends on the room scale and the relationship between the floor and fixed joinery. In a material-rich interior, a quieter finish can prevent the repeat from competing with other surfaces. Where the floor is intended to lead the composition, greater tonal contrast can make the leaf structure more explicit.
